Fighting COVID-19 is all of our responsibility, that’s why our team immediately joined the fight and started working with our manufacturing partners to produce FDA & NDC registered and WHO Guideline adhering hand sanitizer products. Since quality is always our top priority for our customers, we implemented the same due-diligence process that we would for any of our food & beverage manufacturing partners to ensure we are getting access to best in class facilities. We were able to swiftly pull together a network of producers, packaging experts and sales professionals who are able to produce in excess of 20+ million finished bottles & 2 billion individual packets of hand sanitizer monthly. As President and Founder of Thirsty Ventures, Inc., Mark is a recognized leader in the natural beverage space. Having successfully founded and built Maui Beverages and several branded and private label smoothie products for clients like Sysco foods, Caribou Coffee, 99 Restaurant and Pubs and other national restaurant groups. Through vertical integration, farmer to blender cup, the Team at Maui Beverages was able to change the frozen beverage landscape in Foodservice with a strategic alliance with the Team at Lyons Magnus. With over 20 years building sales and distribution in multiple channels, establishing partnerships and distribution in over a dozen countries and achieving aggregate retail sales value exceeding $1 Billion during his tenure.
In addition to Maui Beverages, Mark was the Co-founder of Powell & Mahoney Craft Cocktail Mixers, an all-natural cocktail mix and ingredient business sold through the specialty, retail, all natural and grocery segments. Powell and Mahoney holds the #1 position for sales in the Natural and Specialty segments for cocktail mixers and is one of the fastest growing brands in the grocery channel with key accounts such as Publix, Target, Walmart, CVS, etc. Over the course of his 35 year career Mark has been involved in over 40 start-ups as founder, co-founder, investor, and/or advisor. He currently is Chief Catalyst Officer and Chairman BOD of Atomic Coffee Roasters and serves on several beverage BOD and advisory boards. Mark brings team building, a vast personal network and focuses on back end transactional functionality for scaling businesses. He enjoys fast paced growth enterprises and is a self-proclaimed start up addict.
Mark is a graduate of The Massachusetts Maritime Academy in Bourne, MA where he achieved recognition as one of the highest-ranking leaders in his class. While attending Mass Maritime he added graduate level coursework from Northeastern University and was a catalyst for curriculum advancement at the Academy to offer business minors for the student body, Mark is active in supporting Bishop Fenwick High School and Mass Maritime Academy scholarship campaigns.
Vice President Global and Strategic Accounts-Foodservice
Mike Walsh began his career with Island Oasis in 1984. During his tenure at Island Oasis he held various positions within the Company. Beginning as the Companies first sales person in 1984, Mike was then named National Sales Manager in 1989. After 11 years of hands on sales and management experience with Island Oasis, Mike was appointed Vice President of Sales in 1995. Over the course of his career, Mike has played an integral part of the growth at Island Oasis and has helped the Company establish its’ leadership role in the frozen beverage industry.
Mike joined Kerry through acquisition in the fall of 2015. He began his career at Kerry as the Vice President of Global Accounts-Foodservice. In 2017 Mike was promoted to Vice President of Global and Strategic Accounts-Foodservice. In this role, Mike is responsible for all activities related to Foodservice Chain business for Kerry.
In 2019 Mike joined the board at Atomic Coffee Roasters and acts as an advisor to the company as well.
Mike has been a member of The American Beverage Institute, The International Foodservice Manufacturers Association and the National Restaurant Association.
Drew currently serves as the Founder and CEO of Artisan Group, a specialty food & beverage brokerage and consulting firm. Prior to founding Artisan Group, Drew led the Business Development efforts at KDZ Gourmet, a leading national sales & marketing firm in the specialty food space. Drew has spent his career developing a vast network of distributors, manufacturers and retail partners both in the perishable and nonperishable space. His accomplishments include launching a nationally recognized retail licensing program and the cultivation and successful launches of several control brand and private label programs for some of the largest retail partners in the world.
Drew is a graduate of the Rotham Institute for Entrepreneurial Studies at Fairleigh Dickinson University in Madison New Jersey.
